Ian F. Campbell, Editor

Ian received an expert foundation in media and communication while working as a press officer for the U.K.’s millennium celebrations and subsequently as a spokesperson for the London Stock Exchange.

Later, he left financial P.R. to become fluent in Spanish and pursue a career in the tourism industry as a freelance writer and marketing consultant.

In 2012, he helped found Lo Mejor de Valencia, Very Valencia's sister website in Spanish, and started reporting news from Valencia in Spain in Spanish. In 2014, he also helped launch Very Valencia, and started reporting and editing the city's news in English too.

Rob Sanford, Reporter

After graduating in Media Studies in the UK, Rob moved to Valencia in 2003 and worked for a number of different expat publications in the region, both as writer and photographer.

We saw great potential in his ability to find a good story and capture images to go with it, and were pleased to hire him to work with Lo Mejor de Valencia, our Spanish sister website, in 2013. When Very Valencia was launched in 2014 he jumped at the opportunity to write in English as well and has been on the team ever since.
