With its wealth of migratory birds and rich variety of flora and fauna, you will certainly have plenty of photo opportunities as you cover a 5-mile (8.5 km) expanse of this stunning waterway.
You also have the option to visit a barraca; a traditional high-peaked thatched fisher or farmer’s cottage, with a design that dates back hundreds of years.
Few of these dwellings remain and it is fascinating to learn about these curious constructions and their traditional inhabitants, and hold discover traditional tools and methods involved in fishing and rice cultivation on and around the lake.
To top off your visit, add lunch or dinner after your boat trip in one of the best local restaurants selected especially for you.
