In a exciting wet and wild race, last Sunday, Repsol Honda Team's Dani Pedrosa was first over the line at the Cheste MotoGP circuit in Valencia.
The final MotoGP race at the Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana was officially declared wet by race management, although a near dry line had formed on the the circuit.

Traveling on the metro in Valencia will be more expensive starting in September.
Although there will be a 2% increase in Spanish sales tax (IVA), the company that runs the metro has announced that it will increase fares by 5% on average.

A new highspeed rail link will open between Madrid and Valencia this December.
The new Ave trains will cut the journey time in half, from around 3 hours to just 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Tariffs are still to be confirmed, but 14 trains are expected to run every day between the capital and Valencia's Estación del Nord terminal.
The new connection is sure to bring big economic benefits to Valencia city, making it much easier for thousands to visit from Madrid, including business visitors and tourists. |
