This half day Valencia wine tour offers an amazing introduction to local wine and is suitable for anyone who just enjoy a ipple, right through to the most seasoned wine experts.
Departing in small groups from the centre of Valencia at 9am, this guided, all-inclusive tour visits two wonderful vineyards in the Utiel-Requena region, about a 1 hour dive away.
Along the way you'll also get a guided visit of Requena's Old Town, learning about its fascinating history and importance to local wine production.
At the vineyards you'll learn about the growing and harvesting of the grapes as well as the techniques used to produce the wine.
Once you've learned how it's made, you'll also have the chance to try some with a tasting led by professional wine experts.
Visiting two different vineyards will give you a great overview of the variety of techniques used in Valencian winemaking and you'll get to try 6 different wines in total, including the reknowned local Bobal variety.
On the way back to the city, you can sit back in your comfortable vehicle to enjoy more wonderful views of the Valencian countryside, before you arrive back to Valencia around 2pm.
