Whether for a group of friends or as a company activity, the Saliing Regatta is a fun and unique experience for all.

Your group won’t need any sailing experience as you’ll be guided by professional sailors, who will give you an introduction to the basics of sailing, including manoeuvres, tactics and team-work.
You’ll then be allocated positions to man on your racing yacht, which will be rotated depending on numbers and tactics played during your race.
Once in your positions, you’ll head out to practice manoeuvres for around an hour, preparing for the countdown and raising of the red flag, signalling the start of your regatta, which will also last about an hour, depnding on conditions, skills and sailing speeds.
This great activity is not only loads of fun, but is a great team building activity for family and friends, and of course, brings out the competitive streak in us all.
You’ll also learn sailing basics, and the lure of the regatta is sure to bring you back time and time again.

What is Included:
Boats, professional skippers, safety equipment, insurance, fuel, cleaning and two drinks per person (beer, soft drink, water, wine or gin and tonic - alcohol only served after the regatta).
Basic sailig theory training, approx. 1 hour practice and 1 hour regatta race on course marked with buoys, with suppot boat and judge.
Prize ceremony.
What's Not Included:
Transport to meeting point.
Towels or wet weather gear.
Other Notes:
Boat activities are dependent on the weather. The event goes ahead rain or shine, as long as the captains consider it safe to do so. It is your responsibility to check the weather and bring suitable clothing. Bear in mind in can often be cooler at sea than on the land.
While the seas are typically calm, we recommend that those prone to seasickness, take motion sickness medication at least one hour prior to departure and refrain from drinking alcohol during the trip.
Please ensure that you wear comfortable clothing, adequate for the weather conditions. We recommend you bring sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and a jacket in case of cool breezes. Please wear appropriate flat, rubber soled non-slip shoes (light coloured soles, not black, so they don't mark the deck).
