Departing from the peaceful village of El Palmar, just 20–30 minutes from Valencia city centre, you’ll glide across the serene waters with a professional local guide who will share fascinating insights into the lake’s history, wildlife, fishing traditions and rice cultivation, as well as explain the astronomical details of what you are witnessing.
You'll pass traditional thatched cottages, expansive rice paddies and abundant birdlife, while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere with complimentary drinks and carefully selected snacks served on board.
As the total eclipse approaches, you’ll anchor in a prime viewing spot over the lake's 3,000-hectare expanse. Each guest will receive ISO 12312-2 certified protective eclipse glasses, ensuring a safe and unforgettable viewing experience as the sky darkens above this extraordinary natural setting.
After the excitement of the total eclipse, you can relax with a drink and tasty snacks for about 30 minutes, before seeing the sun set from the water as well, and finally returning to the pier again.

Access to the boat involves a step and is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any mobility issues we recommend contacting us first to make sure the trip will be suitable.
