Valencia Bullring

Valencia's Plaza de Toros - the bullring - is located in the city centre, right next to the North Railway Station.

This neoclassical building was designed by Sebastián Monleón, and was completed in 1860. It stands 59 feet (18 metres) high, with the arena measuring 170 feet (52 metres) in diameter. One of the oldest in Spain, a visit is recommended for fans.

The majority of bullfighting events are held during Fallas week in March and the July Fair.

The site is also used for a number of varied events, including live concerts, performances and even visiting circuses. It has a museum, which was founded in 1929.

Tuesday to Saturday: 10am - 7pm

Sundays: 10am - 2pm
