Here we highlight two of Valencia’s great parks to which a combined visit makes a great day out. Cabacera Park at the western tip of Turia River Bed Gardens, gives prominence to water, featuring ponds and waterways, and is a great place to top off a visit to Bioparc zoo.
Bioparc, Valencia's spectacular 24-acre (10 hectare) zoo, is found next door to Cabecera Park in part of the famous Turia Riverbed Gardens. Opened in 2008, Bioparc is a must for families, animal lovers and the young at heart!
Bioparc zoo was developed as a 'zoo-immersion' site, meaning that barriers are virtually invisible as they are created using rocks, rivers and bridges. This allows visitors to feel almost a part of habitat of the animals, which come from in the heart of Africa. See leopards, lemurs, hyenas, lions, giraffes, gorillas, rhinos, elephants and more!

This park is a great outdoor area featuring a “Swan Lake”. Located at the far west end of the Turia riverbed, you’ll find an open-air auditorium, jetty, bar and playground for the children.
TIP! A great place to bring the family! The little ones will be delighted with the playground or a ride on the lake in the swan-shaped boats.
Terrace restaurant is located right next to the lake.
