Bioparc, Valencia's spectacular 24-acre (10 hectare) zoo, is found next door to Cabecera Park in part of the famous Turia river bed gardens.
Opened in 2008, Bioparc is a must for families and animal lovers. Developed as a 'zoo-immersion' site, barriers are virtually invisible as they are created using rocks, rivers and bridges.
This allows visitors to feel almost a part of habitat of the animals, which come from in the heart of Africa. See leopards, lemurs, hyenas, lions, giraffes, gorillas, rhinos, elephants and more!
TIP! Combine it with a visit to Cabecera Park next door.
