The Centro Cultural La Beneficiencia is a multi purpose cultural centre, which houses the Prehistory and Ethnology Museums. It is located in the vicinity of the Torres de Quart towers, next to the Botanical Gardens. It is also very close to the IVAM.
The building housing the museums dates back to 1841, and has a somewhat medieval and renaissance character. The building provides a cultural, civic and multidisciplinary space. Along with the museums, the centre houses the Valencian Institute of Study and Research, and specialised libraries in prehistory, ethnology and art.
With free entry, it is convenient and easy to pop in and visit these fascinating museums when in the area.

Closed on Mondays.
