Say adios to the old and welcome in the new, at Valencia's traditional New Year celebrations on 31 December at City Hall square - the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
Valencia's city council confirmed, this week, that the city will once again hold a spectacular free New Year's Eve party, so you can enjoy the traditional chomping of grapes at midnight with bells, light show, pyrotechnics and music.
Last year over 40,000 people flocked to the city centre for the incredible fiesta, which included no less than 4 different fire work displays, blowing up more than 4,400 lbs (2,000 kg) of gunpowder, in true explosive Valencian style.
Access to the square opens from around 9pm, so get there early to find the best spot, then the party proper will start at 10.30pm and continue through until the early hours.
For the kids, a special family New Year event will take place from around 11am to 12.30pm on New Year's Eve, with the children celebrating the 12 chimes of midday instead of midnight, and a host of other activities for them to enjoy too, such as an ice rink, games, fireworks, dancers, clowns and kid's music.
