Fantastic Fallas Fireworks

Expect plenty of oohing and aahing as this year's Fallas fireworks programme makes an explosive start, tonight, at Valencia marina.

The first banging multi-coloured show lights up the skies above the marina this evening from 8pm, and be prepared for even more gunpowder-powered spectaculars through the month of March.

2020 Fallas Fireworks Programme

The Fallas festival started in March 2020 but was subsequently postponed due to corona virus. It is expected to continue in July, with new dates for the main events from 15 to 19 July 2020, but this will be subject to final approval by the Central Fallas Committee and, of course, dependent on the health situation. As soon as we know the new dates for the fireworks programme we will update them below, in the meantime we have left the original dates. To receive updates, register to receive our newsletter.

Evening of 29 February 2020

Fireworks display by Pirotecnia Ricasa at Valencia Marina at 8pm.

Evening of 1 March 2020

Fireworks display at the Crida (grand opening of Fallas) at the Torres de Serrano. The Crida starts 8:30pm, the fireworks will follow afterwards.

1 to 19 March 2020

Mascletà firecracker concerts every day at 2pm in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

Night of 15 March 2020

Fireworks displays around the city for Nit de L´albà including a spectacular one at midnight in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

Night of 16 March 2020

Fireworks display by Pirotecnia Zarzoso at the river bed in the city centre at midnight.

Night of 17 March 2020 (to early hours of 18 March 2020)

Fireworks displays by Pirotecnia Hermanos Caballer at the river bed in the city centre at 1am.

Night of 18 March 2020 (to early hours of 19 March 2020)

Fireworks displays for the Nit de Foc (Night of Fire) by Pirotecnia Caballer FX at the river bed in the city centre at 1:30am.

Night of 19 March 2020 (to early hours of 20 March 2020)

Fireworks displays throughout the city from about 10pm to 1am, to accompany the burning of the fallas - the Cremà. The biggest will be in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento at 1am.
