If you enjoy immersing yourself in art, history, customs and culture, then you’ll love the museums in Valencia. If you are travelling with your family, the Science Museum is a great option for the kids.

The great science museum offers interactive exhibitions and activities featuring science, technology and the environment. Covering three floors, the different exhibitions and displays are fun and easy to understand for children.

Or if you'll looking for eye-candy, Valencia's IVAM is one of the best contemporary art museums in Europe.

Exhibitions focus on modern and contemporary art throughout the twentieth century, featuring those from the crisis of avant-garde through to the 70s.

And if you'd like to combine art with local history and culture, housed in Marquis de Dos Aguas Palace, the National Museum of Ceramics is home to a great collection of Spanish, local Valencian and foreign ceramics.

The collection largely consists of contributions donated by its founder, Manuel Gonzalez Marti, and showcases a comprehensive look at ceramic production and design over the centuries.
