Aside from the old town and city beaches, Valencia has another less-known side. Just a short drive south of the city is a completely different world: Albufera, a large freshwater lagoon surrounded by rice fields that supply the region's famous paellas.
Tickets went on sale, this month, for 4 new weekly flights between Stuttgart in Germany and Valencia. Operated by low-cost airline, Germanwings, the new direct route will start running on 29 March 2015.
