Our new vinobus tour is a great, fun way to get out of the city and see the local wine country in Valencia.
On your journey you'll learn about the growing and harvesting of the grapes, the techniques used to produce the wine and, of course, you'll get to taste some of the best wines too.
Departing from the centre of Valencia on selected Saturdays at 9am, this guided, all-inclusive bus tour takes you to one of the wonderful vineyards in the Utiel-Requena region of Valencia.
Once you've learned how it's made, you'll also have the chance to try some with a tasting led by a professional wine expert.
From the vineyard you'll board your comfortable bus again and head to the incredible caves under the town centre of Requena. You'll learn how they were man-made between the 9th and 13th centuries as spaces to store wine, as well as having a multitude of other uses.
By now you'll have worked up a healthy appetite and it's time for your bus to take you to lunch at a top local restaurant. A full set menu is included with drinks dessert, and coffee all included. And, of course, more delicious local wine.
On the way back to the city after lunch, you can sit back in your comfortable bus seat to enjoy more wonderful views of the Valencian countryside, before you arrive back to Valencia around 5pm.
